Treatments typically take 15-45 minutes and require only topical and/or local anesthetic. Side effects such as swelling or bruising are minimal and should fade within a few days. Results are visible immediately after the injection and can last for months or years, although the procedure can be repeated as often as needed.

Juvederm™ is composed of a non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid gel, a sugar found naturally in the body that works with collagen to keep the skin smooth and supple. It’s proven to give long-lasting correction of moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, as well as for lip augmentation, with documented results that last six months to a year, or even longer, with repeated treatments. It has an excellent safety profile with millions of treatments worldwide. It is a simple and convenient procedure and no allergy testing is required.

Voluma™ has similar ingredients to Juvederm™ and is the latest, longest-lasting injectable facial filler that is FDA-approved to correct age-related volume loss in the cheek area. The hallmark of youth is a fuller face, with plumped cheeks that make the cheekbones appear higher. Loss of volume makes the cheeks appear hollow, as well, which is a sign of more advanced aging. Made by Q-Med, the Swedish company that produces Restylane®, Perlane® contains purified hyaluronic acid, a sugar found naturally in the body that works with collagen to keep the skin smooth and supple. It is hypoallergenic and so does not require a pre-treatment skin test. With its unique ability to bind with water, Perlane® continues to perform up to 60% longer than collagen.

Radiesse® is a synthetic injectable filler that reduces wrinkles, creases and scars by augmenting the body’s natural collagen supply. Composed of microspheres in a biocompatible gel, Radiesse is made from the same minerals found in our bones, so it carries little risk of allergic reaction. Radiesse can be used on many areas of the body, including the lips, nasolabial folds, peri-oral lines, depressed scars and oral commissures.

Sculptra® counteracts the loss of fat beneath the skin (a condition called lipoatrophy). Sculptra® is injected into the deep dermis layer of the skin to improve the appearance of sunken cheeks, hollow eyes, indentations and wrinkles. Its main component is an alpha hyrdoxy acid that has been used for 20 years in surgical products such as dissolvable sutures. Results can last up to two years.

Sculptra® Aesthetic is intended for use in people with healthy immune systems as one-time treatment regimen of up to 4 injection sessions that are scheduled about 3 weeks apart for correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies.
